I didn’t want to buy an air cleaner after looking into a few the replacement filters are crazy prices. So i bought a farm fan and regular furnace filters. This was my first idea for an air cleaner. The bottom switch is a duel switch for high and low speed on the fan. The fan is an 8” barn fan. Let me know what you guys think

Looks like it will move some air. That will be good for your lung function.

I’m in the process of building an air cleaner. I am repurposing a variable speed, squirrel cage, furnace blower. I am also installing a timer, so thae air will be filtered long after I’m done in the shop. I am writing about it in my blog, if you are interested.
