This is a cedar bandsaw box and was the waste block from the bigger bow-tie box I made/posted earlier. The box measures 12’‘L x 2 1/2’‘W x 2’‘H. After a friend saw the UVA box, he hinted that he sure would like a Denver Broncos box. He has no idea that I’ve made this and will be surprised!
It took me 5 hrs. to put EACH one of the logos on. As I stated in the UVA box info, it’s a very tedious process. They turn out really well but it’s a LOT of work. The left-side is their old logo and the right-side is the one that they use today. I lost the brillance of the orange in the logo’s when I applied the wax finish but it still looks okay.

All of these are nicely done and, to be honest, I haven’t seen bow tie boxes before. Nice work.

Really nice work on the logos and the Bowtie Box! Again, the cedar really has a great eye catching grain. Awesome job!

Nice looking box and great job with the logos! Is there a special pen that you used? Seems like every time I try to write on wood, the grains of the wood would make the ink run.

The only thing that you wont find in that box is Peyton Manning! He’ll be wearing that red and gold next year … and now your starting quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs … Peyton Manning!!!

I had to get that out of my system …. besides the wonderful logo i really like the style of the box and that cedar looks awesome.

My brother is a huge Buffalo Bills fan. I am going to attempt something similar for him. Thanks for the inspirational idea!
