This sculpted bowl was really fun to make! I had no plan for it, no drawings, no expectations. I just was inspired to sculpt and see what the results would be. It sold to a nice lady in Kansas City and all I have left are these pictures.

Andy;

Nice bowl! I think I know how you feel, sometimes it feels like you’re selling one of your children when you spend so much time bringing it to fruition.

Thanks for posting,

I love the two tone look….. gives the bowl an extra dimension. Very nice.

That is a beautiful work of art, Andy. And I share your sense of loss now that you’ve sold it and you only have the pictures left ! Your creation is a part of your life; it took dedication and commitment from start to finish. By the time I completed a project, I am so attached to it, as Daiku said, that it would be just like parting with my child. But now you also have that “nice lady” to share with what you’ve created, and it is gorgeous! Why not make some more, Andy?

Wow – Beautiful! Can’t wait until I get that good – probably another 100 years. :D
