I made this little box out of butternut. My first experience w/ butternut, easy to work with for the most part. It tends to fuzz a little on the router but planes like a dream. Thanks for looking.

Cool! I need a place to hide pencils near my computer and these would work well.

This is a really nice box. I have never seen one like it and I am GONNA copy it. LOL Great job on this.

I am never without a couple of #2 pencils. I keep them in one of the pockets in my bib overalls and I plan on making a couple of pencil boxes for my workshop. Yours are very nicely done. Welcome to Lumberjocks.
