I know I really suck at finishes, I put all this hard work into building a nice Shadow box only to screw it up with the finish. Curly Maple, Padauk corners, wooden hinges and latch, install using a coat hanger wire as a pin epoxied into a hole I made it for our Motorcycle drill team Captain. If you want to see what a what our Drill Team does, click here for a video.

I was just asked to make a square Shadow Box for an Australian flag… apparently all Australian Flags will now be folded square… this gives me some ideas…I intend to make a prototype soon will post when finished.

Nice!! I Can’t see a problem with the finish. Looks like the grain is popping on the Maple. Great design and the video was very interesting.
