This is a gorgeous table and matching footstool. Walnut is such a nice wood with which to work and it is absolutely beautiful when a finish coat is applied to it. I like the sliding leaves on the table as well. They add a nice detail to the table

Do you have a story to go with this table? And what about the third photograph? To me it isn’t clear how it relates to the table and footstool.

What type of finish did you put on the table?
