Yep “been there, done that” myself.

Practice makes perfect!

Haven’t tried them yet, but understand they are difficult. Hey if it was easy everyone would do it.

I have done the same because I get lost in a daydream and suddenly find doing the reverse of what I intended, or cutting too deep, or too shallow. Lol. Another thing I do, with embarresing frequency is to cut my miters on the same piece in the same direction. DOH!

Ps. I dont think Hickeymad meant to be rude. I think it was a self deprecating joke. Saying he’s made the same mistake himself then ‘berating’ you. But thats just my opinion.

Yes, I’m sure Hickeyman was also just kidding. Its hard to sense sarcasm over the internet.

Billybonkers on the other hand…....well….hes just bonkers

Good try on the dovetails. I’m sure they’ll get easier and easier once you get those psychomotor skills down!! keep it up!

(this all being said, I’m fully aware that you and Bonkers are in fact the same person…its ok)

make a media cabinet out of it and sell it as “rustic”. people will pay hand over fist for “rustic charm”
of course, you probably don’t live in Taiwan which only hurts the authenticity of it all. buy hey, trust me, i work in one of those big name furniture retailers, i see this happen every day

Save the pins, cut new tails on the other side, and keep practicing!
