We made this project out of different strips of wood that were laying around in the shop. MIne is made out of maple, oak, white oak, walnut, and mahogany. we glue all of the stripes together and then plained it flatten it. Then we cut it into pieces and flipped every other piece to give me the look on he cutting board. I put a miteral oil on it to seal it so i could cut on it

What a great looking project… I love the colours and grain patteren…
