Perfume pot or perfume jar made from Walnut, two pieces glued together, turned on lathe. I’ve only done pens until this small pot. The hole was drilled with a .5” forstner and a 1” forstner bit. Finished with BLO and Mylands friction polish.

Little cups, boxes and pots are fun and “usually” quick to make.
Fortunately my spouse does not use perfume because I’m not fond of it. She doesn’t eat candy either so that cuts down on my choices of small gifts to get her. Flowers work well.
