This is a small box with a lift off lid.
Measures about 7” x 4 3/4” x 2”
Body is New Guinea Rosewood with a Birds Eye Maple veneered lid panel. The lid is trimmed with Indian Rosewood.

This is an excellent box. You used a nice variety of woods in this as well. The rosewood accent and birdseye maple make a nice contrast.

Great looking box. You make such nice and precise corners, too. Do you have a special jig for those?

Thanks for all the comments. I cut my mitre joints using a Nobex mitre saw – it gives accurate results first time. The mitres for the lid trim are sanded using a simple jig on a disc sander.
