David,
This is an excellent box. You used a nice variety of woods in this as well. The rosewood accent and birdseye maple make a nice contrast.

Thanks for all the comments. I cut my mitre joints using a Nobex mitre saw – it gives accurate results first time. The mitres for the lid trim are sanded using a simple jig on a disc sander.
