I’ve had the wood, plans and brass for this project for awhile, finally got around to putting it all together. The wood is African hardwood, finished with a coat of hemp oil. The brass is…umm…brass. I just need a project to use a sliding bevel on now!

Thanks Jim; I have tomorrow off, but then it’s back to the grind…we got 6” of snow on Friday night, but it’s supposed to be 8oC on Wednesday, which will probably do the shovelling for me.

That is a fantastic looking bevel. Too bad about the weather, you should visit CA, it’s 75oF today…

Thanks guys!
Philip: I don’t mind the cold, it is just the slushy in-between season between winter and spring that is annoying…too warm to do any of the winter activities and too cold and wet to do any of the spring stuff outside.

Beautiful. Great photography too.

Looks like a classy design. Can you enlighten us as to the source of the plans?

I don’t know what to say, talent…you got it, real cool work. Just want to pick it up.
Everything I make and show my Dad, he has to touch, before it’s dry or whatever, he just HAS to touch it, Ha, I know how he feels, it looks like it feels good in the hand. Nice work, bro.
