This is a mostly generic cabinet I built because we needed more storage space. I added a pull out drawer in the middle for recyclables which has turned out to be really handy. This project made me realize how badly I needed to dump the Craftsman Contractor saw and get something better. The frame isn’t square and so the doors don’t fit quite right.. but it works for now.

I here you on the saw. Craftsman (Crapsman) contractor saw has sloppy miter slot and minimal accuracy. I ended up building a new saw table top with new miter slot and fence. Your cabinet came out nice though. We would never have known it was out of square.

I agree with you on the saw. They can be modified with after market accessories to greatly improve the saw’s accuracy but you can end up spending more than the saw initially cost to do so.

In this case your cabinet did come out pretty good. The construction looks solid and the finish is pretty nice. The edge profiles on the doors and drawer fronts add nice details to the cabinet.

Thanks for posting.
