This was a pattern by TJ Brown…out of the scroll sawing magazine. It is my very first Fretwork project.

Great job. I’d never guess it was a first time job. Excellent.

Welcome to Lumberjocks, Pauline. You’re doing a great job on that first fretwork. I do scrolling as well. Keep up the good work. This site is a great community of woodworkers and we are all here to help if you need it. I look forward to seeing future projects from you.

Your doing great, just stick with it and practice. Find a local cabinet shop and tell them you are trying to learn to use a scroll saw. Ask them if they have any small scrap you can have to practice on. That will help you out.

-- Have a great day.
