Even though I struggled almost all day, I could get another bowl from the plank of ash about I told you last week. The hardest part was the sanding of the “legs”. In the last picture, in the lower left we see the board from I cut the blank.

Looks like it could have wanted to eat a finger or two

Pretty cool! Thanks for showing it.

You know, some one who doesn’t know anything about woodworking will think you just magically formed that over a press, or something.

Thanks very much to all of you.
Norman: It is. It still hurt the little finger of my right hand. I was close to break it while sanding the outside of the bowl. Luckily, I was wearing some leather gloves.

Good work.
It does make you pay close attention and the noise it makes is scary too.
I have a cartoon in my shop that my wife gave me. It shows the wife standing in the shop door way saying, “It is 11 PM. Time to count your fingers and come to bed”.

Les, this is a good one. I’ve showed the joke to my wife and we both laughed. But I still laughed more. Thanks.
