We milled everything for this job from scratch. Treads, risers, handrail, ballusters, volute step, and the flooring for the landing. The steps actually extend past the ballusters by 5” to allow the client to line the steps up the run with small plants. The returns on the steps had a crown profile under the lip which had to be handscribed on the risers to match. It was an interesting project.

Chris;
Real nice work here! Great finish. Stairs can be fun.

Chris,
This is a really nice job. Putting distinctive elements like the volute step, skirt board and a landing create a lot of visual interest for a stairway project.
Thanks for the post.
