This is a mantle I made at work for a house that I renovated from the floods last summer. The owner wanted it done on the cheap since she will be selling the house and didn’t have insurance. The mantle is made of MDF and pooplar and unfortunatly painted the same color as everything else in the room so there is little contrast and it barely stands out from the wall.
