This was turned from white oak that I got a couple of years ago. I thought the checks were cut out of the blank, but obviously not. It’s 11 inch high, dyed and finished with tinted gloss. The form was turned to final dimensions using semi-wet timber and some movement occurred during drying. Thanks for looking and comments are appreciated.
