This was 2 part job. One was the corner fireplace surround / entertainment center, and the 2nd part was the poplar paint grade crown moulding on the cathedral ceiling. We milled the crown and the corner blocks ourselves and prefinished the trim pior to installation. The doos on the upper part of the mantle allow for access to the back of the T.V. The customer supplied the doors which were left over from another project she had removed befored.

Very nice. Can you get us a better look at that corner detail on the molding?

Very nice use of a difficult space to work with. Corners can be a nightmare for this application.

Hi Chris,
The entertainment center is gorgeous. You did a really nice job on this. I don’t blame you for using corner blocks on the crown. I happen to like the way they break up the molding run and add a distinctive element to the crown job.
