I recently bought my first lathe. It’s the Delta 46-460. I love it.
To cut my teeth on it I bought a starter kit of pens.
The ones pictured are Rosewood, Bamboo, Walnut and the last picture is of a wood I have yet to identify.
Turning pens is a lot of fun and very relaxing. I’ve sold a few at work and have a friend of mine who regularly does craft show here in Oakland will be taking some of my pens for tomorrows First Friday Show. It’s a big deal out here for the local artists. We have a deal where we will both make some money. If your in the area stop by and have a look at both or our crafts.

Thanks for looking.
