I Turned A Hat Into a Bowl

Well, I might have mislead you just a little a few weeks back. My so-called Cowboy Hat has been finished. I put three antennaes on it and now it makes a pretty good bowl. :D Thanks go to Mark for leading the way on this. Wood for the bowl is zebrawood, with birdseye maple for the legs. This was my first time to try Waterlox oil gloss finish. I think it will get a 2nd coat tomorrow.

BTW, making the three legs was not easy. I really wanted them more wiggly rather than diamond-ey but that ain’t as easy as it looks. One is easy, two is difficult, and three was just out of the question(for this time at least).

Agree about making copies. You need a lot of patience.
