I built this bookshelf to remove clutter in our home office. I saw a commercial put on by Home Depot in which they showed a modern looking bookshelf but the shelves were on a diagonal. I didn’t want to deal with that so I drew this design up. I used pine boards and everything is glued up, no other joints. I trimmed out the fronts of the bookshelf to give it more of a finished look. This was an easy project although some parts were difficult with only me working on it. Having a helper for some of the steps would have helped. My regret on this one was not adding any hidden storage. I came across an article where you leave some space between the dividers and then add magnets for hidden compartments. Maybe next time!

Came out looking GREAT!

It looks like it is doing it’s part to remove the clutter!

This has a real good look to it, the shelves had good balance and dimension
