As a Valentine’s present this year, I decided to try out a new design that I had been brewing on for a while – a 3-part stacking jewelry box. I decided to have the design coordinate with a previous jewelry box – http://lumberjocks.com/projects/44426 – I had made so they would look nice next to each other on the dresser.
This box consists of 3 compartments with a little indexing ring on the bottoms so they don’t slide around. The compartments are made of maple, the lid is cherry, and the knob is ebony. This project was finished with a sprayed matte lacquer.
The present was well received!
Enjoy and I welcome any comments!
