“What in the world are you making all those gumball machines for?!” I’m sure you’re asking this same question…
My dad founded a church mid-week club program for kids called, Club DJ. Each child will paint, decorate, and assemble about 4-5 craft kits like the one above, each and every year. I’m the one who makes these wooden craft kits as the churches order them. This club program is beginning to spread across Canada and soon the USA so it doesn’t give me much time to sit around… hahaha
This is one order of many that come out of my shop.. The photo above is an order of 85 ‘Gumball Machines’ ready to be packed up and shipped. You also can only see about 35 of the 85 kits in the picture. :)
You should see people’s faces when I go through the till with 50 lbs of gumballs!!! hahaha One of life’s little perks ;)
It’s nothing special.. but people always get a little kick out of it :)
Enjoy!
Levi

Wow, that’s a lot of gum ball machines. I like the sound of that church program. Sounds very positive.

Did you make these from some plans online? I have been looking for a nice little Gumball/M&M machine plan. If you found them online would you please point me to them. I want to make one for the gal in out office who always has a candy dish full. I think she would like this.

Hey Ken, I’m just doing up plans for you. We had gotten this design off the internet but it doesn’t seem to be online any longer. I’ve gone and modified the kit a little here and there..
I’ll get you the plans when I’m finished!

Do you have a link to a high res version of this picture (larger than the zoom)? I’d love it for my computer background.
