we had to put our mind into this cutting board for class, and i did two of them. i thought i could do it and i did! this one is an end grain cutting board. i also made a regular cutting board.(non-end grain).

Very nice work. What kinds of wood did you use? Looks like maybe purpleheart, walnut, maple?

Nice ENDgrain cutting board. I made a very similar one recently so I am going to guess maple, walnut, purpleheart and oak.

thanks guys. i did this in my woods 2 class. it was pretty easy to do. the only hard part was trying to get the board to be level and smooth all the way across.
