Kids Teeter-Totter

This is a simple teeter-totter I made for our kids last spring. It’s mostly constructed out of pressure-treated 4×4 from the home center. I rounded everything over and recessed all of the hardware so there where no sharp edges. All in all it took about 8 hours to complete (including a few trips for hardware). It was nice to make a project I didn’t have to apply a finish to. :-)

Very cool.

What a sturdy and well-made project! I should make one like this for my grand kids too.

Great build, Clayton. That just might be around for his kids to play on it. Wonder what the launch capabilities are on it?

Thanks Martyroc!

Thanks moonls!

Thanks Harry_Ch – Launch capabilities are not real good lol, the main beam is only about 6 ft long. With the fulcrum at 3 ft, you can’t get much lift :-)

Have your say...
