Downloaded plans for a Raised Planter Box. Modified the plans to shorten the legs to 20” long, made them from double 2×4s and routed the 3/4 by 3/4 groove in two sides to receive the end and side panels. Used a Kreg hole jig for all panel mounting. I like the neatness of the Kreg system and this was my first time using it. Also was the first time using my new DeWALT DW618 router. I was a good boy this year apparently. My wife of 50 years likes the planter, so that all that counts.

Looks really nice, I picked up the same router not too long ago, with the additional plunge base, great machine, used it for every cabinet and door in my kitchen.

-- Martin ....always count the number of fingers you have before, and after using the saw.

Martyroc: Yes, I also purchased the DW618PK. Have not used the plunge base yet, but am looking forward to not eating all that sawdust with the vacuum hookup.
