I have been wanting to jump in and make some wooden Trucks. I finally got some time to do it. The First one is a Lumber Truck, the second is a logging truck, the third is a pickup truck and the back does open. Finally my favorite one is the cargo truck. The back door does open, and I just love how it came out!! They are made out of all wood with no metal at all. Was a great project, and I look froward to making more! Thanks for looking and all comments welcomed!

Sweet. I like ‘em.
Looks like a lot of fun to build and to play with. Good for you. Nice simple lines.

Questions: Your designs? How did you do the wheels?

THanks for the comments.. Steve-The designs I got off a toy design site called toy makers press, they also have a bunch of other plans these are the first that I have made from them. I couple of the trucks I used there base and went with it. As for the wheels I bought them from Craftparts.com, If you buy in bulk they are really cheap. In fact cheaper to buy than to make.. Richard, no I did not use a 2×4 for the base. It was 3/4 inch pine.. I will have to remember to build the trucks for Christmas for children in need. Once again thanks for all the great comments!

These are fine and also look good and rugged for hard play. Good work.
