After almost 3 months of doing everything but completing a project I finally got in the shop. I cleared away all the memories of my 6 consecutive destroyed bowls and went to work.

I used a crappy piece of wormy white oak and it came out great!

Now I have some confidence back, now let the projects begin!

Great Work, Chris!

I really like the delicate “foot” on this piece.

Hi Chris,

Good looking bowls. I believe one of the more important character traits, especially for a woodworker, is persistence. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve started a project over again for a host of reasons. But I always try to finish it eventually. In the process, I find I learn more and gain additional confidence with each project. I tell myself over and over again, “don’t keep thinking about it, just do it”!!

Keep up the great work

Ron
