Made this box out of scrap hickory, mahogony, and alder. Bush oil finish and a clear top coat. I thought it would b neat to make the bottom removable for small hidden compartment. I also hand cut the dovetails

hey thanx. i would very much like a new dovetail saw man. that japanese one i have sucks, I think I would like to try the gents saw like you have j.

Nice design, I agree with Wrench those dovetails look spot on.

Nice design. I like the lid handle.
What you gonna keep in that hidden compartment? Secret receipe? Love letters?, don’t you worry, I won’t let Her know…. LOL!
