A problem with the wine bottle

Big problem with this wine bottle. It’s solid walnut and I can’t get any wine out of it.

Made this for my daughter as a commemorative for her wedding. The design matches the wedding invitations.

A friend of mine is getting married this Oct. I want to make them a carving too. Any idea?
