This was my first attempt at making a box after moving to San Diego. Our new garage is much smaller and our neighborhood is much more conjested.

Gents Thanks. I was thinking that I might have to give it up when we moved to San Diego but I figured out that I just need to make smaller projects or space each project out longer…... because of the noise and the dust that escapes from the garage..

You are 20 years younger than I am and I just made my first box last year!!!

You have a long way to go, a lot of wood to cut and a great future as a box maker.

Great job!

That’s cool! It looks so much better than my first box. Mine was so bad I had to tell everyone I purposely made it as a parallelogram!
It wouldn’t have been so bad but those 16 penny nails kept breaking through!

Keep up the good work!

I like it. I work out of a one car garage.

Yep, one car garage was all I could get here, I will just have to wait until I return to NC for bigger projects. Thanks for all the positive feedback, I think I have found my niche.

Great looking box, I feel your pain on the small space and trying to stay quiet for the neighbors. Can I suggest insulating your garage door?
