Hi All Joined up today, thought I better post up some pics.
This is my current project, its a console table made of Tasmanian Oak (I am in Australia).
It was my first attempt at hand cutting Dovetails, I am pretty happy with how they turned up.
I havent applied a finish yet, I will spray it using lacquer and a light walnut colored stain when the weather cools down. Its going to be about 110f in the workshop tommorow :(
Anyway thanks for looking .
joez

An abrupt squarish look for sure with a forward front that fairly forces its way out.
Interesting look and I wonder what the colour will do to it. Nice project.

That’s a very fine piece of furniture.
For a first, it’s a fine looking one.
Welcome aboard.
