Childhood twin beds and dresser. After years of storing the twin beds in the basement, I decided to use the hard rock maple wood!! So, after six weeks, I had the two night stands done. Then used the remaining frame, cut to half the length for dog bed! Then, driving home I spotted a dresser on the garbage. Jumped out in the foot deep snow and grabbed six drawers. They were the perfect size for my soon to be lingerie chest. All drawer slides are oak. I must admit they are tricky. I had never made wood slides before, so had to be patient and it did work out!! Just this week I finished the headboard to match. Pieces were finished in Danish oil and then waxed. Maybe one of these days I’ll get the sides of the dog bed finished.

looks great, I think the dog likes his bed just the way it is.

Everything look just perfect, especially the doggie bed – - that is sooooo cute. We got mywife a min. Poodle about a month ago, so she’s planning to make a doggie bed. I’ll show her your design, if that’s okay with you?
