I built this cedar chest for my nephews girl friend. It’s made from Aromatic Cedar.
The splines are African Ebony. The felt was put on with one of those felt sprayers. It does a lot better job than trying to cut sheet felt. The finish is a wipe on polyurethane. It was the first time using it and I like the way it works

Nice looking box, I like the contrast with the miter keys
