this here is a box for my sons birthday, learned a good lesson though on this project.. it looked better before the stain got applied. thanks for looking

Super nice job on the burning!! Sorry that the staining really washed it out. I’ve been reading quite a bit lately on woodburning and on not using stains, but that’s a pretty dramatic example of why not to do it. Thx for sharing…as a learning experience! I’ll hold this project in my mind now whenever someone mentions staining a woodburned piece.

That’s nice, I see what you mean about staining, a lot of the image just fades in, even so it looks really nice
