This was the third thing I ever built. My brother couldn’t find a shelf to fit this corner in his apartment so he came to me to build it. I bought the pine and crown molding at HD and the inside back is oak for durability. I used a keyhole bit in my router for mounting. The finish is Minwax dark walnut stain (actually a dye regardless of what the can says) and poly thinned and wiped on.

Nice job, I would never have guessed pine.
