For a design class, the project assignment was to create something inspired by a “person”. Since my grandson likes to play with Legos and loves Eggo waffles, this was my creation. The lego effect in the birch legs and aprons was created by using a 3/4” plug cutter and routing away the surrounding material The cherry top has v-grooves in a grid to be suggestive of a waffle.

The table is designed to be used for Lego assembly while sitting on a carpeted floor It also is a good size for his parents and friends to play board games.

The legs are finished with spray enamel and the top is done with rub on “Tried and True” brand oil/varnish .

Now that’s a great idea, I bet your grandson loves it too.
