This is a cherry and walnut jewery box that i created. There are no edge joints, I cut the center out of 2 blocks of cherry and stacked them on top of each other, one hole was slightly smaller allowing the tray to sit on the ledge. The bottom is solid walnut, the top is a frame of walnut with the beveled etched glass set in. added another puporse with the clock. Hope you like and are inspired to think outside the box (lol)

Very cool- etched glass! I like- where do you get it/ how do you do it?
Criticism- ? hinges are too big.
Also- good job on the felt. Or is it flocked?

Very nice, I love the etched glass, did you do that. I also think the hinges are a little big, only because they take away from the nice cherry and walnut, but what do I know, my wife says I’m an idiot, she could be right?

The stained glass is very nice also.
