My Grandson gave me two drawings and said “G-Pa”..that’s what he calls me sometimes. can you make my friend and I these swords? I said I guess I could do that for you! He had names for these swords but I forgot what they were called. They are made of maple and some plywood. He didn’t want a finish on them he was suppose to do some kind of decoration on them. So far I haven’t seen that happen yet.

Man I would have loved to have that kind of wooden sword when I was a kid. Great job! Love them.

My 11 year old son would die if I made him one of those…and then his mother would kill me. Really neat swords!

Great fun. You can’t beat a bit of swashbuckling when you’re a kid. I was always Erol Flynn.

Lucky kids.
My 17 & 13 still have the ones that I made. Occationally, they they get them out to defend themselves.
I think my 17 will probably take it with him to college.
