This piece is carved out of a single board of Alder. It’s height is 28” and it widest part is 15”. I colored it using a combination of diluted oil paints and stain.

Nice composition, action and perspective. I like the ā€œSā€ flow created by the turtle and fish.

Let me compliment you on your artistry. This is a very nice project. Since I am both a non-carver and “artistically challenged” I really appreciate seeing these talents expressed by those who have the abilities to produce works like this.
