Ok, so you have to imagine a “zoooom” since my last post, representing the transport from Finland to Sweden, and the assembly has started.
The framework are bolted into four concrete blocks about 1 cubic meter each (a little overkill I know).
The signs were lifted into place by a wheel loader with extended forks.
As the signs are between 4.5 – 6.5 meters tall, a skylift was essential.
The whole project includes two entrance signs (the ones with 8 legs) and four of the simplier ones.
The whole assembly process on site took two worker 12 days continuous work plus me running back and forth assemblying missing letters, moving material and negotiating with the customer.
Guess who´s feeling relieved now when it´s done.

I will be putting up the whole process at my website www.kyltti.fi

Not bad.
I’m with whitewulf, I’d have gone with half laps.
And post this stuff on your blog unless it a FINISHED PROJECT!
