This is a baby gate right after staining that I build for an oak staircase. The patron loved the piece and keeps calling back asking me to do more projects! It looked even better suspended in her stairs! You can also tell that I have a need for more clamps!

If I was the customer I would be happy also. I think that we all need more clamps.

That is an interesting gate. Very nice. I agree with Bryano in that it is a universal truth that all woodworkers need more clamps. It doesn’t matter how many you have, there seems to be projects that come up whereby all your clamps are put into service.

Thanks for the post.

Welcome Aboard,
That gate looks sooo much better then the metal one I installed at the top of our steps. Very nice work, look forward to seeing more.
