experimenting with different chair designs I came up with this one. I think the seat needs to be a little deeper … a couple more tweeks perhaps … wood is walnut and maple

nice looking, and chairs are complex with compond angles. Do you design to ergonomics or vision or ????

Doc..nothin worse than an uncomfortable chair …so ergonomics has to be taken into consideration. goal is to my chair comfortable which sometimes you dont find out until sitting in it for a while.

Beautiful! Your killing me with these chair posting. How many hours do you put into make a chair? Then I can times it by 10 and know how long it will take to building one. Thanks for inspiring.

this chair took about 20 hrs to develop templates and dive in…..no drawing just an idea.

Very nice chair. But if you don’t mind me saying… Those highback’s are really great. The contrasting woods highlight the joinery and the figure on the wood really gives them personality. Younz really know how to build furniture in central Pa. ;)
