My neighbor’s daughter-in-law asked if I would make her a letter holder. This is the design I came up with. Oak base, oak holder with wenge inlays which help hold the ¼ inch sides. Lacewood top and bottom trim. Routed out area for cork insert for pin notes with a sheet metal piece contact cemented to the cork to hold a magnetic backed note pad. Pencil holder out of Bocote. Finished 4 coats wipe-on poly. What fun making after being laid up recovering from rotator cuff surgery.

Very nicely done letter box Dale. Glad to hear you are well after your surgery. Shoulder injuries are very painful and frustrating. I hope you get a full recovery.
