Here’s a couple of signs I’ve made for friends. for the one for my brother. I used sycamore to relief carve a Manatee and attached it via a 3/8’s block to give it depth. Manatees reside in the area rivers in Homasassa, Florida. He puts the sign in front of his camper trailer when they travel. The sign is made of Basswood.

The second is for a friend’s lake house in north alabama. I fashioned a fouled hook and bobber out of Fir for effect. the sign is made of Poplar and sealed with spar varnish. Both signs are hand carved.

-- I did measure it twice, it's still too short.

Neat idea with the 3d affect. Good Job. I need to think up a sign for my camper now.
