Nice work.
I like the form and the shimmer of highlights on the back. Painted objects are difficult to pull off. I couldn’t do as well, and I did not inherit the color-blindness.

Tom, this looks great, and the result reminds me of a cousin of mine who lived back in Quebec (now deceased). He carved wooden ducks as a hobby. I remember seeing them when I was a teenager. You paint job is great also, nice work.. be proud of it.
