I made this outdoor table for the church pre-k school care. It is for outdoor classroom instruction and also a lunch table. The construction was made of TP frame work, deck screws and tops of table and benches are composite wood. All edges were routed smooth and rounded. No splinters in the little fingers. Table should last many years. One big draw-back is the weight of all the pieces. It should never fall over.

That composite decking is some dense material! It should last for ages. I particularly like the ‘runners’ on the bottom. I would imagine it is a little easier to slide around that way as opposed to trying to lift it up. Not to mention increase the lifespan of the pressure treated wood. Great table!
