This is my version of wood magazines 3-in-1 crib built for the second of our twins. The picture is not very good, but the heart inlay is purple heart and looks much brighter in person. I used maple for all the rails rather than the plywood the plans call for. This was my first attempt at bent wood lamination and it took 2 tries to get something I was happy with. I used the first attempt as a caul for the second time. If I built this crib again I would buy a mortising machine rather than gluing in all the little blocks. I would probably also try to finish it before the baby was 8 months old! The crib was 3/4 done before birth day and there was no time for woodworking after birth day. Comments and suggestions are welcomed! That’s how I learn.
