This is a balancing hollow form I just finished. The base and hollow form are Box Elder Burl and the cap and finial are Amboynia Burl. The finial is a design I have been calling the Cigar Finial. 9”x 5” finished with wipe on poly.

Cool. I know you said it is balancing but, is the egg part sitting there or is it attached?

Thanks for all the great feedback. Pete the side walls are about 1/4” the burl top is a little thicker at about 1/2”.Kelly the vessel is not attached to the base it is standing on its own.
