My version of a grandfather clock! This is a red oak mantle clock that I whipped up from the scraps from another project I was working on. Although simple in design I wanted the focus to me on the contrasting grandfather clock face. Some of the subtle features that really stand out in person : glass cabinet front , swinging pendulum , contrasting carved face. I used one 8ft red oak board for the entire project and a quartz clock movement with pendulum.
